Z-List Films is a sole proprietorship engaged in the development and production of local film projects. If you have ever wanted to be part of the movie business this is a great opportunity to participate without a huge outlay of cash. Investment opportunities start at $500. 

You may be under the impression that producing a good film costs millions of dollars, but the truth is with the cost of high quality video cameras and production equipment  dropping drastically over the past 5 years, the cost of entry for a quality production can be as low as $5000. I know that sounds incredible, but it is true. In 2005 Request Entertainment produced two feature length horror films for under $20,000. You can see samples of their work at requestentertainment.com. We expect our first feature to cost less than $10,000, including the cost of a Cannon XL2 video camera if necessary. 

However, the cost of producing a film is just half the story, the real concern most investors have is "will I make money?" We can't promise that you'll get rich, but we can promise that you will see a return on your investment. Because our cost of producing a film is so low, we don't have to generate billions of dollars to make money, and investor contributions count as production costs that are repaid prior to disbursements for cast and crew salaries. 

We have been niche marketing videos produced by independent filmmakers for over ten years. Currently our average monthly online sales are approximately $5000. That means we are recovering the cost of one film every month. You can do the math and clearly see the potential for profit. This does not include the sale of residual rights such as cable, HBO, pay-per-view, or foreign markets, this is strictly direct sales of DVDs over the internet.
